Bowcraft

What you need

• A dagger (dagger), sold by bladed weaponsmiths. You carve the wood with it.
• Logs (log), sold by carpenters or cut from trees with an axe. The crossbow asks for boards (board), from carpenters and tinkers.
• For arrows, feathers (feather), sold by bowyers.

No table or workshop is needed: you work anywhere.

Carving

1. Double-click the dagger: it goes to your hand and the game asks what to use it on. Choose your logs.
2. The bowyer's menu opens (What do you want to carve the wood into?) with what you can make right now, the material in brackets: only what your skill allows and what you carry material for appears.
3. Choose the piece. If it works, the game says «Guardas … en tu mochila» (you put … in your backpack). A finished bow tells its damage and condition when you click it.

Arrows and bolts

First the shafts: arrow shaft in the bowyer's menu, ten a log. Then double-click the shafts with feathers in your backpack: the Select arrow type menu offers the arrow (arrow) for the bow and the bolt (crossbow bolt) for the crossbow, one shaft and one feather each. They are also sold by bowyers and provisioners.

Starting from nothing

• No archetype starts with Bowcraft. A bowyer teaches you: open their shop and look at the Enseñar (Teach) tab. They teach up to 45% of what they know, and bowyers know between 65 and 88: they leave you with 29 to 39 points.
• That already makes kindling, torches, shafts, arrows, bolts and the bow (17.8). From there, carving is what raises you.

What is carved

From the lowest skill to the highest. The torch lights when you take it in your hand.

Fine bows (Exceptional Bows)

A group of the menu with superior and exceptional bows and crossbows, which ask for more wood and more skill than the plain ones.

Silver

Silver bows and crossbows, from silver ingots that nobody sells: they are mined and smelted with 65 Mining. Some ask for Tinkering too, and two ask for cat gut (Cat Gut), which you get by carving a cat's body with a dagger, black ones included.

The legendary bows

The top of the craft: 87.5 to 100 Bowcraft, almost all with Magery as well, 66 to 666 logs, mytheril wire (made by a tinker with 100 Tinkering, from mytheril ingots), rare metals from the mine and pieces that certain monsters leave: Runa de la Luna (dropped by the Moon Dragon, always), Runa de las Estrellas (dropped by the Star Dragon, always), Cristal de Fuego (dropped by the Demon Mage, always). The Ancient Weapon Stone is dropped by the Gladiator always; half of the time, Ancient Demon King, Black Liche, King Wyvern, Minotauro, Sphinx and Tainted; one time in four, Blue Demon, Dark-Elf Dragonlord, Giant, Li Mu Bay, Mauler, Necromancer, Shadow liche from hell, Stone Giant, Yang Demon and Ying Demon; and one time in eight, Blood Knight, Demon Mage, Hydra, Mummified Mage, Phoenix Knight, Possessed Guard, Predator, Snow Mage and Wight. They only appear in the menu when you carry everything they ask for.
