Tinkering turns ingots, logs and boards into tools, parts, clocks, instruments, jewellery and containers. You work anywhere, with the tinker's tools in your backpack.
What you need
- Tinker's tools (tinker's tools) in your backpack. Sold by tinkers; with 35 Tinkering you make them yourself (4 iron ingot).
- Iron ingots (iron ingot), sold by blacksmiths and tinkers, or your own smelted at a forge.
- Logs (log), sold by carpenters or cut from trees with an axe, and boards (board), sold by carpenters and tinkers.
No forge or bench is needed: you work anywhere.
Making things
- Double-click the tinker's tools. The menu opens with the craft's groups: Containers, Parts, Tools and the rest.
- Each group shows what you can make right now, with the material in brackets: only what your skill allows and what you carry material for appears. A group with nothing in reach does not show.
- Choose the item. If it works, the game says «Guardas … en tu mochila» (you put … in your backpack) and there it is.
Pieces that make other pieces
Some things are put together from what you already made. They appear in the menu as soon as you carry their parts:
- Clock (clock): a frame (clock frame, from logs) and a mechanism (clock parts, from iron). Double-clicked, it tells the time.
- Sextant (sextant): from its parts (sextant parts). Double-clicked, it tells where you are in degrees, as on sea charts.
- Lute and harps: logs and iron wire (iron wire), made from one ingot.
- Blank scrolls and maps: from Papel, which comes from a log.
Starting from nothing
- No archetype starts with Tinkering. A tinker teaches you: open their shop and look at the Enseñar (Teach) tab. They teach up to 45% of what they know, and tinkers know between 45 and 68: they leave you with 20 to 30 points.
- That already makes the simplest things: springs (springs, 13.7), scissors (14.5), gears (gears, 14.7) and hinges (14.8), one ingot each. From there, making things is what raises you.
What is made
By group, from the lowest skill to the highest. In brackets, the group's name in the game's menu. The few pieces that ask for another skill have it written: the wooden chest and the paper belong to Carpentry and ask for its tools, the smith's hammer is Blacksmithing, and the instruments also ask for Musicianship. Nobody sells gold or silver: they are mined and smelted with 65 Mining.

Amulets
The top of the craft: they ask for almost 100 Tinkering, 80 Magery, a hundred ingots of a rare metal and three Ancient Weapon Stone. The Ancient Weapon Stone is dropped by the Gladiator always; half of the time, Ancient Demon King, Black Liche, King Wyvern, Minotauro, Sphinx and Tainted; one time in four, Blue Demon, Dark-Elf Dragonlord, Giant, Li Mu Bay, Mauler, Necromancer, Shadow liche from hell, Stone Giant, Yang Demon and Ying Demon; and one time in eight, Blood Knight, Demon Mage, Hydra, Mummified Mage, Phoenix Knight, Possessed Guard, Predator, Snow Mage and Wight. Those metals come out of the mine with 93 to 99 Mining. They only appear in the menu when you carry everything they ask for.
