The dungeons and the market, now part of the map

9,079 pieces of hand-placed decoration in Wrong, Despise, the old Solen hive and the market become part of the map: less work for the server and less to download for your browser.

A market square: its fences and hedges are part of the map now.

Coliseo's builders decorated piece by piece with loose items: the cave floor that crosses the void in Wrong, tile by tile; the great labyrinth of Wrong Level 4; Despise's widened caves, with their pond; the garden hall that stands where the Solen hive was; the market's fences, hedges, flower beds and benches.

Each loose item is something the server watches and sends to every player who walks near it. On 17 October those pieces became part of the map itself, as the Hall of Portals and the Tournament Arena always were: the server loads them once, and your browser downloads them once.

Six places fewer

Between 16 and 17 October six stray buildings that had no use left were removed as well: the sandstone house on Fire Island, the platforms at sea in the Northern Territory, the yard with benches in Trinsic, the grandstand by the field in Minoc, the archery yard by the Coliseo and the floating arena off Jhelom, with the two grey moongates that led to it.
