La herrería convierte lingotes en armas, armaduras y escudos. Se trabaja junto a una forja y un yunque, con un martillo de herrero en la mano.
Lo que necesitas
- Un martillo de herrero (smith's hammer). Lo venden los herreros. Al usarlo pasa a tu mano.
- Lingotes. Los de hierro (iron ingot) los venden los herreros. También puedes fundir tu mineral: doble clic en él estando junto a una forja y se convierte en lingotes.
- Una forja y un yunque a tu lado. Las herrerías de las ciudades tienen los dos; lejos de una forja el juego te avisa: «Para forjar tienes que estar junto a una forja».
Forjar
- Haz doble clic en el martillo. El juego pregunta sobre qué usarlo: elige tus lingotes.
- Se abre el menú de la herrería con lo que puedes hacer ahora mismo: solo aparece lo que tu habilidad permite y para lo que llevas material. Un grupo sin nada a tu alcance no aparece; con lingotes de colores aparecen sus armaduras.
- Elige la pieza. Si sale bien, va a tu mochila. Si falla, «Fallas al forjar y pierdes parte del material».
Cada intento, salga o no, sube un poco la habilidad: forjando dagas con 30 de Blacksmithing ganamos una décima por intento.
Empezar de cero
- El arquetipo Artesano empieza con 50 de Blacksmithing: puede hacer casi todo el hierro.
- Si empezaste con otro, un herrero te enseña: abre su tienda y mira la pestaña Enseñar. Enseña hasta una parte de lo que sabe, a cambio de oro; un armero de Britain nos llevó de 0 a 25.1 por 251 monedas.
- Con 10 ya puedes hacer el escudo pequeño (buckler) y el martillo de herrero; con 26.7, dagas. Desde ahí, forjar es lo que te sube.
Reparar
En el menú del martillo, Repair y elige la pieza: vuelve a su estado completo y gasta unos lingotes (tres de hierro para una katana muy dañada). Si la pieza está entera, te dice que ya está en perfecto estado.
Hierro
Lo que se forja con lingotes de hierro, de la habilidad más baja a la más alta.
